 CLIENT-CHOICE PANTRY

Our Client Choice Food Pantry allows the opportunity for those in emergency situations to choose their own food/personal/cleaning items after calling for an appointment. When a prospective client calls, initial information is taken, and an evaluation of the personal/family need is assessed. After this process, an appointment is scheduled.

At the first appointment, initial information is verified, and new information is taken. Each client needs to supply proof of income, and each adult in the household needs to supply a photo I.D., such as a driver's license, which wil be copied for our records.

We have canned and packaged foods, fresh bread, fresh fruits and vegetables (when available), juice, milk and eggs, frozen meat, personal and cleaning products, and baby items available for each client. Each client selects his/her own food products according to quantity guidelines with the assistance of a trained FIC volunteer. The items selected are weighed and bagged/boxed for the client. The weight of the items received is recorded for FIC records. Each client can receive food up to 6 times per year.
